Boys & Girls 12U and 14U
Practices will start in mid-late January. Teams practice up to three times per week.
If more than one team is needed per age group, the players are placed on a team determined by the coaches. No preferential treatment is given.
Parent volunteers will be asked to coach. Training and support will be provided by the Folsom Lacrosse Association. If you are interested in being a coach, please fill out our Coaching Application by clicking HERE.
Most games will be held on Saturdays starting at the end of February for Boy Teams, beginning of March for Girl Teams. There are no games during Spring Break (FCUSD schools). The season will end before Memorial Day Weekend in May. Games can be played anywhere from locally to the Bay Area. It varies based on the age of the kids and teams available to play. Most schedules are available by the end of January.
Registration typically opens in September. A US LACROSSE annual membership ($30 for youth, $35 for High School Players) is required of all players in FLA.
All players are required to purchase a club uniform through a link to a 3rd party vendor provided by the club.
Uniform Fitting and an Equipment night held in December to buy used or new equipment. FLA tries to host a free custom mouth guard event (cannot fit players with braces unfortunately) each year in December, if available.
Boys require stick, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, mouth guard and cup.
Girls require stick, mouth guard and goggles.
